What is My Profile?

How do I modify my account information?
Go to ‘My Profile’ in the main navigation. From there, you can edit your email, name, location, password and other profile information.
What are Badges?
Badges are special prizes awarded to players for outstanding knowledge of pop culture.
What are the Leaderboards?
Leaderboards are a ranking system for gamers on WorldofPop.com. The Leaderboards let you see how you rank compared to others on both an individual game level or overall. Additionally, you can see your performance ranked by day, week, month and all-time.
How is my rank calculated?
We look at how well you’ve performed in each of the five games and count how many people are ranked higher than you in each game. We take this number for each game and add them all together. For example, if two people are ranked higher than you in Survival Trivia and seven people were ranked higher than you in Puzzle Race, your rank would be 7 for those two games. So the lower your “score” is, the higher your rank.
What are Brain Cells and how do I earn them?
Brain Cells are our name for experience points. They keep track of how often and how well you play the games on our site. You earn Brain Cells based on your performance in the games here on WorldOfPop.com. Here’s a tip: the more difficult the game is, the more Brain Cells you can accumulate. It’s best to play often and well, since experience points don’t expire. And in the near future, we’ll be using experience points to help determine registered members’ eligibility for prizes.
How are Brain Cells calculated?
Brain Cells are calculated differently for each game and are based on your performance grade. The table below explains the how Brain Cells are earned for each game:
